Katie Price: Working Mum in the Jungle

It has been reported that UK glamour model and celebrity working mum Katie Price (or Jordan as she is also known), is to head back into the jungle for an estimated sum of £450,000. ITV have been said to be extremely keen in securing the star for this years show, therefore didn't think twice about smashing the pay boundaries. Katie is said to have been tempted back into the tropical forest by both the £450,000 incentive, which has been offered by the reality TV show 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here'. Yet this time it is said that the model and celebrity mum will not actually take the role of a contestant as she did so before, but on this series Katie will feature on the programme as a stand-in, this is surely one of many exciting part time jobs to add to a probably already lengthy C.V.

Katie's former husband Peter Andre has reportedly turned down the chance to return to the show, despite being invited back by producers. The couple originally met on the 2004 episode of the ITV show and parted only last month. As well as stating she loved the first stint spent in the outback, another reason that Katie wants to return to the jungle is allegedly to enhance her image. She has reportedly stated she wants viewers to see her, as she really is, a working mum and not just a glamour model and pin up. Supposedly Peter Andre's public image has gone from strength to strength since the pair split and Katie has said she wishes the same for her reputation and feels a second stint on ‘I'm A Celebrity' will boost her public image. By returning to the show, Katie has apparently stated she'll give any of the challenges a go and in return showing the public there is a different side to her. The mum of three must already have a few fans backing her image as this year she managed to reach the shortlist for Celebrity Mum Of The Year, in which the model and working mum, alongside 19 other idols was put forward for by the public.
