Easily Lengthen the Life of Your Car

Using car polish on your car may seem like a waste of time and money, but it is actually quite beneficial to your car in the long run. The body of your car will last much lost because it will not rust, you will not spend money on paint jobs, and your car will bring more money as a trade in if you use car polish at least once every three to four months. I like to do it periodically because I know that it will bring benefits in the long run. I like to use the following holidays as a reminder to wax the car: Valentines Day, Memorial Day, and Labor Day.
On a bit of a side note, washing your car regularly is also very important. Actually, car washing is just as important as waxing, especially if you live in an area where the roads are treated with salt in the winter. I have added car washing to my weekly routine. I use quarters that I get back from going through drive up windows to wash the car each week. It only costs me about two dollars and five minutes of my time, but will add a lot of life to my car. But back to car polishing.
Car polish application is actually a simple process. Be certain that your car has been thoroughly washed and dried before your begin the application process. Once you have washed and dried the car, begin applying the car polish one section at a time. It is best to test an inconspicuous area of the car first whenever you use a new type of car polish, just to make sure it will not have any adverse reaction. I like to work from top to bottom on the car because there is usually more dirt at the bottom of the car that I do not want to rub around to the other sections of the car. I make the bottom of the car the final section because I do not want to scratch up my paint.
Once you have finishing the process of applying car polish, buff the car to a shine with a soft cloth, which will make it nice and shiny. This process may seem like a real pain in the neck, but in the long run, it will save you a lot of money. It will add years of life to your car and add dollar signs if you ever sell or trade in your vehicle. By simply applying a little car polish, you can keep your car looking just as good as the day that you drove it off the lot. Applying car polish is definitely worth the work...work a little now, and have your car last a lot longer and be worth a lot more money!
