As a policyholder, you know that your car is safe even in the worst of accidents. As long as you live to tell the tale, you can get your car back with your car insurance. It would be a shame if you didn’t have it.
Operating and maintaining a car is a far cry from just buying it. When you have to worry about repairs, especially after an accident, you could worry yourself to death. But if there was a policy on the car, all this could get paid for by the insurance.
There isn’t anybody wishing you evil by asking you to get automobile insurance. If anything, it is out of care and concern for you that they urge you so. Your response should be to take the package, and not get vexed over such a serious matter. It’s for your own protection.
There are very few states in the US that do not have prepared insurance packages for cars. It is a basic understanding that these things are sure to happen – the accidents. And so, preparations to have the damages sorted out by an insurance policy have to be put in place.
Insurance on your vehicle is only good when it covers more than just one thing about your car. It is understood that it might cost a bit more, but you know that it is worth it. At least with the higher premium, you know that you get better coverage when it happens… because it might.
You don't want to be caught with your pants down, do you? No one does. But if you don't have your car insured, that is just what you are setting yourself up for. Picture yourself in an accident, and then afterward, while you get treatment in a hospital, you still have to worry about paying the bills for repairs. That is being caught with your pants down. It's not a good thing at all and it shows that you are not very smart. Getting car insurance is smart.
Many states in the U.S. insist that that you secure some kind of insurance for any car that you buy. Sometimes they are not particular about the level of insurance you take, and they let you decide that at your discretion. However, there are instances in which you are not permitted to have anything less than a certain amount of coverage. In such instances, you do have to comply.
You should have your car insured for damages to another person's property, implying the car of the other person. However, I personally believe this is not as important as an insurance coverage for medical bills in case someone has to be treated in the hospital. Hey, what's the value to the car if the life of the owner is lost?
