Acer To Come Out With New Products PDF VersionPrinter Friendly Version

Acer is planning to add new products to its manufacturing list in 2010. It will probably be the first one to manufacture the first netbook that will run on Chrome OS. Besides, Acer is also planning to bring out its own App store and e-book reader. ...

In 2009 Acer had announce that it is in the method of making the very first netobbok that will run Chrome OS. And now they seem to be operating in the direction of this even more hard. I have written this many times earlier, but still for those who have yet not heard the word Chrome OS or have heard but don't really know how it is going to be different from the Chrome browser, here is a quick and easy definition of the witout a doubt famous Chrome OS:

Chrome Operating System is nothing but a mix of browser and operating system. That is user will start off Chrome like a browser and locate all of the stored softwares and documents in cloud. Take the needed tool from the cloud, use it and give it back to the cloud. Simple. That could save the fear of losing any imperative data if your OS crashes and something else goes wrong with the operating system. Apart from this, the whole method is going to be amazingly quick. Just in seconds, the personal computer will boot and you can get to use the net.

Okay, getting back to our main topic of discussion, Acer is also planning to introduce e-reader which they say shall be of about 6 inches. What Acer believes is that the Amazon Kindle (e-reader) provides services more to US centered people; whereas Acer's e-reader will be fashioned especially for Asia Pacific and West-Europe places.

What's a lot more exciting is that Acer is also operating in the direction of establishing their App store. Doubtlessly Apple App store is the inspiration (but, it will take decades for any brand to compete Apple). I sure am looking forward to seeing Acer's App store which claims to house numerous inexpensive apps. And some of the apps will be entirely of no cost.
