I was recently asked if i knew how to make copies of Xbox 360 games, to provide a backup solution. I'd damaged a few discs and decided that a being able to make exact copies of Xbox 360 discs was an urgent requirement.

A quick bit of on-line research showed that special software was indeed available to help me make backup copies of Xbox 360 games. it also worked for many other gaming platforms. Your usual PC burning software has real problems with overriding the disc protection that thecompanies use. Luckily, there is software available that can easily remove the protection and make copying Xbox 360 games a simple process. The software allows you to backup PS2,PS3 Nintendo Wii and Gamecube games too. If you have more than one games system, you get the benefit of being able to back those up too.

This software enables the computer to decipher the information on the disc, producing an exact copy becomes a simple task. With your normal burning software, the disc is unable to be read.

This is the procedure for making exact copies of Xbox 360 games.

Firstly, put the disc you want to copy into the DVD burner, then follow the on screen directions. An image file (ISO) of your games disc is then produced by the software. When the image file is created the original disc will be ejected and the program will ask you to insert a blank one. The correct type of blank disc is essential for the copying to work.

The ISO image file is transferred to the new disc and you xbox 360 disc copy is done. Use the same system to copy all your Xbox 360 games.

The software made backing up Xbox games so easy. Copying your games for backup purposes is a great plan. Make a backup straight away, then store the original safely. You will always have a clean, working copy if required.
