Japan Video Games

It is a well known fact that if it wasn't for Japan, videoprobably wouldn't have evolved into the enormous success that they are today. The majority of the world's most popular video games are conceptualized and created in Japan. In this article, we will discuss some Japanese companies that have completely rocked the video game industry.
While Atari, a New York based company, first brought the thought of console gaming to life many moons ago, it wasn't long before they were upstaged by a company that would give the world of gaming the graphics and depth that they were hungering for. Nintendo, a company in Kyoto, Japan, created Mario Brothers and forever changed the gaming industry. Nintendo is still popular to this day, with a variety of gaming consoles and new games coming out all of the time. They have revolutionized the gaming industry more than once, not only with the birth of the popular Mario Brothers role playing game, but also by bringing full body fitness to their popular Wii gaming console with the Wii Fit. Nintendo's consoles have seen many faces and are traditionally known as the kid friendly gaming console. It has just been recently that they have taken on some of the more adult themed games, adding to their repertoire in the hopes of once again dominating the gaming industry.
Another highly popular Japanese company is Sony. They are most famous for their PlayStation console which fights tooth and nail to dominate the gaming industry. Some of the most popular PlayStation console games include Final Fantasy, commonly referred to as the best game series of all time.
Japan has had their hand in the majority of successful game companies. From consoles, to the games themselves, it's almost impossible not to notice, if nothing else, the Japanese influence on the gaming industry. As long as there is Japan, there will always be evolution in video games.
