You know tricks like filling a site with tiny words loaded with keyword phrases or stuffing lots of keyword phrases in alternative text code in images. Those things succeed for a short while and then you get sent to like page 300 or less. There is no way I would advice using these scams.

A good way to boost your site is by adding strong informative words with backlinks from quality sites are still the only way to do it. Updating your pages routinely will keep the bots coming back for more. Backlinks will let them know how admired your website is. But your links should come from many sources. Make sure to mix things up a bit with solid backlinks from forums, review sites, videos, blogs, article directories and so on.
