Size is a very important consideration when considering the purchase of a condominium. It is however worthy of note that there are very many differences existing between a house and a condominium, besides the size. Such differences include overall maintenance, facilities included as part of the package like gyms, swimming pools etc.

When it comes to size however, condominiums are usually with a close neighbor proximity whereby a condominium complex features many units adjacent to each other and divided by walls. This becomes a crucial consideration since it determines the space available to keep your wares within your unit. Again, you must be aware of a higher level of noise from neighbors than would be the case in an independent house since instead of a yard, only a thin wall separates you.

If your neighbors have pets, children or they love loud music; you will have to make do with some noise in the neighborhood. However, this never goes to the extreme since the condominium complexes are governed by very strict rules and codes that ensure every condo owner pays acts courteously and in consideration of other owners.

Again, proximity or sizes of condos determine landscaping of the condominiums complex. The complex may have a very good garden or yards even though it is hared between the condo owners. In some complexes, such a communal yard is usually divided among the owners so that each owner has a part to maintain despite the entire yard being accessible to all.

Condominiums are always the best option for those who do not need a lot of internal space. Individuals living alone, retirees, young professionals and students are all suited with the ample sp[ace provided by a condo. Owning a traditional house may turn out to be a very uneconomical for such individuals who do not need all that space.
