Very basic working principle of vaporizers is convection or conduction. The Convection is a process in which the plant material or herbs does not come into direct contact with the heating element, but a stream of hot air is passed on the material to release the vapors. The process is repeated many times so as to extract all the vapors from the herbs. It is a good method to extract vapors without unwanted constituents in the vapors, and in the conduction heating a metal plate is used for heating the substance. These metal plates are heated on which the plant extract is placed. It is done to extract the vapors from the herbs or plant material. The heating causes burning of material and production of smoke, so the vapors produced in the conduction process are of lower quality than convection. The Conduction process was used in earlier vaporizers and spirit lamps other lighters were used for heating, but in the modern vaporizers convection process is used. Every digital vaporizer is based on this technology and many other options are also provided by the digital vaporizers as climate control, flavored vapors, food grade balloons etc.

All different vaporizers deliver vapors in different ways, vaporizers users inhale the fresh vapors produced from the vaporizers with the help of rubber tube and in the digital vaporizers a fan is used to make the flow of vapors to fill the balloons. The vapors filled, leak proof balloons can be used to store the flavored vapors of digital vaporizers. The Oxidation is minimized in this process and user enjoys most fresh vapors, another thing that makes difference between the vaporizers is the type of chamber used, as the solid and liquid material both can be used as filling in the vaporizer so the type of chamber make a difference. Few people use powered herbs in vaporizers and some use concentrated liquids, so both the users need different chambers and the chambers that have to support liquid are of different material than the chambers for solid material. Few vaporizers use a ceramic soldering iron element with a glass extraction chamber and a plastic pipe for vapors delivery. It is cheap and effective method, but people are concerned about fuming of mercury gas from the solder element present in wiring of the box. But now a day’s aluminum is mostly used in vaporizers as it is lighter and cheaper metal. Furthermore this metal does not react with any herb or plant material and its wear tear is minimal. The Aluminum is conductor of heat so it gets heated up with very less heat and energy is saved. Final but not the least vaporizers with aluminum chambers are very easy to clean as nothing sticks on it.
