Eating a small apple about 15 minutes before every meal helps youin several ways. it takes about 20 minutes for theto recognize the stomach's signals that you've eaten enough. Having the apple gives your stomach a head start. The apple is loaded with pectin which helps fill you and keeps that full feeling longer. And the apple is rich in fiber which helps controls blood sugar spikes.
Flax seed has lots of antioxidants, and fatty acids. It's been shown the people who consume two servings of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids a day lose weight even if they don't make other changes in their diets. A serving of flaxseed is about a tablespoon. Flax seed isn't a new miracle food, it's been around for thousands of years and has been used to make break. Don't consume the seeds whole, either buy the ground seeds or grind them yourself in a coffee grinder you don't use for anything else. The seed's oils are released until the skin is broken and since the seeds are so small, about the size of sesame seeds, it's difficult to do that with just chewing.

Drink green tea. Green tea has an ingredient called EGCG which helps burn fat. It also is full of antioxidants which get rid of free radicals and reduces inflammation. There are lots of ready to drink green tea drinks available but some of them get rather pricey. It's easy and cheaper to buy green tea bags and make a batch of tea yourself. Drink it hot or iced. Mix green tea with flavored seltzer waters for a change of pace. Add lemon and a bit of honey for a green tea lemonade.
Have a glass of wine. Studies have shown that those who have a glass of wine, ether red or white, before dinner eat less. Eating less means weight loss. Beer also works but beer is higher in calories and because it's carbonated can lead to bloat.
