I am sure you all would agree with me when I say that one of the most frustrating things a person can go through when they start to workout is having no clue what to do! This is especially true when it comes to the abs. There are so many exercises for a flat stomach out there, how are you suppose to know which ones you should and shouldn’t do? Today, I will be talking about the top three abs exercises. Some may be familiar to you while other may be a complete surprise....

This is especially true when it comes to the abs. There are so many exercises for a flat stomach out there, how are you suppose to know which ones you should and shouldn’t do? Today, I will be talking about the top three abs exercises. Some may be familiar to you while other may be a complete surprise.

1)The Sit Up- Yes you heard that right. The sit up is one of the most basic movements but can actually help you achieve incredible looking abs. Most people don’t realize this though because the sit up is usually done with very poor form. In order to perform a sit up correctly your hand should be down on the floor the whole time. Not across your chest or on the back of your head. You should go up and down slowly. At least five seconds up and five seconds down

2)Planks-This is a great exercise because it works every area of your abs, including your oblique’s. To start this exercise off you want to lay on your stomach. Next, you want to rise up onto your elbows so the only thing still in contact with the floor are your elbows and feet. Hold this position for one minute if you can. Work your way up from there

3)Sprinting- Most people don’t view sprinting as an ab exercise, but it can be. Sprinting hits the abs harder than anything you can do. Don’t believe me? Look at the world class sprinters. You will not find one who does not have totally ripped abs. Start off doing a few 20 meter sprints a few times per week.
