Health is wealth, so focusing on a healthy lifestyle should be our utmost endeavor. Today we try our best to buy luxuries and comfort and settle down for an easy lifestyle often compromising on our health. For example usage of mobile phones nowadays is more of a necessity rather than a luxury. Our lives would come to a stand still , without being in touch , with our family , friends and colleagues . But we often don't realize the damage we maybe causing our selves and our families, in the long run, by over using this comfort giving technology.

Research has proved that men who used a mobile phone for more than four hours a day had the lowest and most unhealthy sperm count than the men who hardly used  their cell phones. It was discovered that the radiation from the mobile phones may effect the cells in the testes which produce testosterone where the sperms are generated.

A thorough study by researchers from Israel, also proved that an extensive usage of the mobile phone can cause mouth cancer. This revelation was supported by the fact that each time we use this much in demand communicative gadget, our body tissue absorbs unmeasurable levels of radio frequency and radiation. This radiation is powerful enough to cause a furore in the tissue molecules which consequently lead to a subtle rise in temperature without us realizing it. Slowly and steadily, one maybe inviting life threatening situation liketumor!!

One has to be extra careful where children maybe at a risk of developing incurable fatal diseases due to extensive usage of mobiles. The tissues in the children are vulnerable and still developing, thus making them an easy target. Even though the good news still remains that the World Health Organization has declared that there is no evidence that children are more at risk, one should be cautious.

Controversies by various schools of thought contradict the above ,saying usage of mobile phones is not as risky as portrayed. But one can always take precautions and avoid the inevitable by making calls short and to the minimum. After all prevention is better than cure!
