Kitchen Cabinets

Kitchen cabinets add a lot of much needed storage space to your kitchen. However, in order to take full advantage of that room, a person needs to know how to organize. First of all, everything that has been carelessly thrown into this cabinet must now be completely removed. When all cabinets have been emptied, wash and dry them thoroughly. A fresh coat of paint will probably make them look like new. The next step is to place a layer of durable paper on top of each shelf. Does it not look better already?
Now, start replacing your things. Glasses, both breakable and unbreakable ones, should be stored in a cabinet by themselves. Position them with their drinking ends down; in order to keep them clean. The breakable ones ought to rest on the lower shelf. The plastic or unbreakable ones can easily occupy the higher shelves. Coffee cups, ideally, should be hung under the wall shelves that are equipped with hooks. Otherwise place them next to the glasses. Plates, saucers and the soup bowls should be assigned to next cabinet; soup bowls on the top shelf and the rest on the bottom shelf. Mixing bowls, serving bowls and casserole dishes should be located on separate shelves in any other empty cabinet.
Assemble your pots and pans in a cabinet of their own; matching the covers with the appropriate pots. Mixing bowls, serving bowls and casserole dishes should be placed on individual shelves in an adjacent cabinet. Spice jars that have already been arranged into alphabetical order should be contained in a spice rack that is near the stove. This will make them easier to reach them while you are cooking.
Always remember, medicines should never be put in the same cabinets as the dishware is stored. It is much too easy for little children to reach them. They are more secure in a higher, locked cabinet by themselves.
