FriendFeed Baby Bargains is a great book, but there still isn't a really uber-cheap place to buy formula or diapers, it seems. I would totally do bulk. (and in case you're wondering - yes, I already tried, and I am not a fan of Costco's diapers. I'm really liking Pampers so far.) Anyone have any other goldmines of information that I just don't know about?

I hate moving, but who doesn't? It's always a pain, from just finding a place to move into to hiring laborers or asking friends to help with the move itself.

But what I hate even more is the hunt for packing supplies. It used to be you could visit your local grocery store and just request some empty boxes, then you could use old newspaper to wrap fragile items in, or for stuffing in boxes.

Not anymore. With profit margins shrinking grocers are now selling their crushed boxes in large bundles for the recycled value and have become very reluctant to let customers freely take their empty boxes. Some will flat-out refuse your request at this point, making the hunt for supplies frustrating to say the least.

Thankfully I found there is a solution. It isn't free, but it is very cheap and given the time and frustrations it saves you well worth the small cost.

It's the Box Company, and they provide everything from cheap shipping boxes to small mailing tubes, with over 900 sizes of cartons and containers available.

Even when not moving, I often do a lot of shipping for my business and have found that the Box Company also supplies packaging material that's perfect for my mailings.

If you're planning a move or do a lot of shipping then I highly recommend checking out the Box Company (http://boxco.shoppkg.com), it'll save you tons of aggravation.
