The selected strips are treated and dried for about 15 days or until they achieve a moisture content level of 6%. This is the optimum level to assure stability.

The strips are deemed ready for the manufacturer's unique, state-of-the-art compression and pre-gluing process. This process includes 10 UV-cured, scratch resistant coatings. Bamboo manufacturers always put the customer's health first. In support of their green commitment, green bamboo providers do not add formaldehyde to their glues. All green bamboo products test well below the E-1 environmental emission standard.
