My grandson has taught me a lot in the past 4 months since school started. Every day it's something new with him. Some things he tells me are hilariously funny, while others shock me to no end.

When he gets up in the morning and eats breakfast, he now has magical powers that keep him going all day, eating breakfast before school gives you magical powers. He came home one day and told us that a little girl in his class got in trouble for telling a joke. Why did the turkey cross the road? To get undressed!" I take it in school that was a sexual comment and a No No.

He came home another day and told me he can now tie shoes, so he untied mine, then tied them back up, in about 15 knots. (LOL). He has also told us that he wants to pack a lunch, we asked him why he didn't want school lunch anymore His reply, I'll eat them both, school lunch is small."

So last night we were sitting here playing a game on the computer, and he says to me Mama, why do some mommies have mustaches?" I told him that some people just have more hair than other people, He say's Maybe it's so mommies can be daddies to!"

One day not long ago he told me he was going to be old soon, I said why is that.. He replied my teeth are going to fall out and I'll be like Nana" I was laughing so hard.

5 year olds are special, it's a time when they are inquisitive, around the time they start finding their hero and when they try to push their boundaries to see how far they can go. I'm going to enjoy him while I can, they sure do grow fast.

Take care and have a blessed day!
