No matter what got you started in the first place, you must have had a really good reason to learn a foreign language. Now that you have started, you need to keep up with what you are doing right now. Otherwise, what you have done before will result in nothing significant. You even will probably lose confidence on other things that you can do well in your life. The first motivating factor when it comes to second language learning is to know about the importance of learning a second language.

You must have known the preached importance of a foreign language like facilitating your job hunting by adding a good item to your resume. However, you know that is not the motivation you are looking for. You don't have to spend several years time to learn another language in order to find a decent job.

You even don't have to be able to speak a foreign language to impress people around although it can fill you with complacency sometimes. So what are you looking for in the language that you have started to learn then? Check out the following part of this article and try me for the answer.

You started to learn a second language because of accidents. You might have happened to hear about a person who has done something you are interested in. A different language is spoken in the country where he or she lives or lived. You might have accidentally heard someone talking in a language whose sounds instantly caught your ears.

These coincidence or accidents are your language learning triggers that you should trace back to when you are losing motivation. Give yourself some time and think back, you will find out what your trigger was. Then, you will never need any other motivating factor to keep you going.
