Finding the right guy

The man you want to spend the rest of your life with. The father of your children. Your soulmate. Prince charming on his white horse. Mister perfect.
There are many ways you can describe him, but we will address him as: the right guy.
You've tried many ways to find him. You visited clubs, you talked to men at the dental office, you got hooked up on a lousy blind date, you found yourself at a dining table with friends and a vaguely known man whose presence was a 'coincidence'... None of it worked. And not because those men were bad (well, some of them were), but you just didn't have that magic feeling with one of them.
How to find the right guy?
Face it, you are not getting any younger and your hormones are ringing the alarm bell. Getting a baby is not difficult, but of course you want your children to have a father that is close.
We have to cut straight through the cheese here. Here is my advice: to find the right guy, try online dating. It has multiple advantages. And yes, the internet was once populated with nerds, geeks, frustrated perverts and so on, but those times are far behind us. Everybody is online now, and chances are big that the right guy for you is to be found at a fingerclick away from you.
The rules for online dating
You will have to prepare yourself to find the right guy online. Create an appropriate profile. Don't be short, don't be long, stay positive. Certainly do not mention your previous adventures with the male lowlife that you used to date.
In the beginning you'll have the tendency to indulge yourself in the attention of all those gentlemen. Try to get over this, as it is a waste of time.
It is better to reverse the role and become the hunter instead of the prey. Select some interesting profiles of men you think could be interesting and contact them.
Be picky on the men you select, but don't go for the biggest buck. Remain honest, enthousiastic and respectful the whole process, and your chances jump skyhigh in finding the right guy for you.
