Resolved Question: Re: people who cheat with married or otherwise attached people, why do they so often say they're not at fault?
Why don't they take responsibility for THEIR actions too? No, they aren't responsible for the husband or wife that strayed. They are only responsible for themselves...It's like if someone loses their wallet, with ID, money, credit cards, etc. Someone finds it and says "Finders keepers!" Um, no... Sure, maybe the person was careless enough to lose their wallet, misplace it, etc. But you know it's NOT yours. So it's wrong to keep it. Of course, wallets don't have free will or loyalty. People do...and that includes people who knowingly accept someone else's seconds. Why do people who cheat with married or otherwise attached people so often say they're *not* at fault? No, you (the OW or OM) might not have taken the marriage vows. But do you really have to take vows just to have common courtesy?! Nik, you sound like a prick. Nik, Blame "belongs" with you when YOU willingly engage in behavior that hurts others.   read more...

Living with a roommate is a lot of fun. You have someone who is your age and is more than likely interested in some of the same things as you are. If you get to choose a roommate on your own, you can decide on a roommate who shares the same interests. In the technologically advanced era that we now find ourselves, there are more places than ever to search for and find the perfect roommate. In the past the only way to find a roommate was to post ads in newspapers and places where other people looking for roommates would find your advertisement. Then you had to meet and personally interview prospective roommates. Now, with the use of the internet and the World Wide Web, it is easier than ever to find a roommate.

Money can be a huge cause in making you decide that you need or want a roommate. A roommate will pay half of the bills, such as rent and utilities. Another factor that a roommate will have is you may have just enough extra money between the two of you to get a place that is just a little bigger, giving you more room and personal space. Or instead of getting a bigger place you may decide to get cable or phone service if you do not already have it. There are several perks to having a roommate when it comes to money.

With the use of the internet, it is easy to surf to find Roommate Finder websites that are all about helping roommates find each other. Because there are such a large number of these websites, you first need to decide what exactly you want the website to do for you. Is it just a place you want to place an ad? How much money are you willing to spend on finding a roommate? Do you want to list a profile so that potential roommates will know something about you? These are just a few of the questions you need to ask yourself before deciding to go with the firs website that you come across.

Many of the websites that offer roommate finding services allow you to post a personal profile along with your advertisement. Depending on the specifications of the site is how much information you have to provide. Some allow you to make the judgment call and you can post as much or as little personal information as you want; while others have a generic form that you fill out and are unable to elaborate on things to the degree that you may want to. The amount of personal information you provide will greatly help you in your search for a roommate because it will allow potential roommates to see what kind of person you are and if they will fit into your lifestyle. There are even sites that will allow you to search for roommates, and you can view potential roommates’ profiles yourself and choose the ones that you think will make a great roommate.

When you make the choice to find a roommate, you may do it for a variety of reasons with money being the most plausible in most cases. Having a roommate will allow you to share the cost of living out of your parent’s home and help make living on your own easier to bear. And with the technological advances we have, it is now easier than ever to go about searching for and finding the perfect roommate.
