Voting Question: Someone With Experience With Kittens, Please?
As I mentioned previously, I will be bringing home 3 kittens in about a week and a half. At that point they will be almost 11 weeks. I want to go ahead and buy a month's supply of the food I want to use so that I have it ready. The foster mom is going to give me enough of the food that she has them on right now to transition them. I have chosen EVO Cat and Kitten, since it is the closest pre-made that I have found to a raw diet. I will also add in chicken hearts or livers a couple times a week. My trouble is finding a feeding schedule for kittens of this age. The foster mother is free feeding dry kibble only right now. I used Nutra's calculator to roughly figure out the amount for all 3 kittens, but I would love some approval on my schedule. That way, I can figure out how much food to go buy. Thanks! Morning: 1 1/8 C (5.4 ounces) soft kibble (will be replenished if needed) chicken hearts/chicken liver (2 days/week) Afternoon: 3/8 C (2.6 ounces) wet food Evening: 3/8 C (2.6 ounces) wet food Is this too much?
