Open Question: Why do most adults ignore what teenagers say?
Most adults I know, including my parents and their friends, ignore everything I have to say. It's not like I'm some stupid kid who is complaining about their parents. I get straight As in honor and advanced placement classes, I am involved in several academic club, I got a 1200 on my SATs (the old one). I try to form realistic, factual opinions about things like politics and sports, but every adult I know except for my teachers act like I'm an idiot. They associate the fact the I'm young with stupidity. I'm frustrated with the adults around me and I feel like I'm trapped in a world of stupidity. If I ask an adult why they like a candidate or a sports team and they just say "you wouldn't understand...". That crap worked when I was six but now I'm 17. I'm going to college next year and I am already taking college at the local community college in math and science.
