Choosing the Right Dance Class 

Dance classes can be loads of fun. There are so many kinds to choose from. The hardest part is deciding which class to take first!! Are you interested in dancing for fun? Or are you interested in dancing professionally? These two are at opposite ends of the spectrum, but there are MANY other reasons why you should learn to dance from health benefits to even gaining confidence and poise. Maybe you want to take basic movement classes so the next time a date wants to slow dance, you will know what to do. Or possibly your friends like to go to the club or the country western bar and dance the night away!! This is great for your confidence to know that you can get out there and BUST A MOVE!!
On the other hand, maybe you have decided that you need some exercise and that dancing is a great way to get those pounds off. Dancing can have other wonderful benefits for your health, so joining a dance studio would be a very smart thing. It would be a lot more fun to exercise andby dancing than going to a gym or running. Maybe you and your partner have decided to join a class together. You know that it will be good exercise, but more importantly it will give the two of you something to do for fun as a couple. This also can help strengthen communication.
As you can see, whether you are single or a couple, wanting fun, exercise, or to learn new social skills, dancing can fit the bill. You can start out with one class and move on from there. The important thing about all of this is that you enjoy the dance training no matter which dance you decide to study.
