Open Question: Are these symptoms related?
SO SORRY ITS SO LONG BUT I REALLY NEED SOME HELP PLEASE! For about a year now i have had lymph nodes swell up and stay swollen for months after a really sore throat in january last year. Some that have never swelled before during illness did and stayed that way for months. They have been swollen for almost a year now! it sounds like lymphoma right? well the doctors say that i don't really have many of the signs. Well for about 1.5-2 years now i have had a problem that i can't figure out... i get tired really easy( i never used to be that way) and its not my muscles that get tired its my body...its hard to explain. it like my body wont let them work. i finally told my mom thinking it was some weird thing after 2 years that i was experiencing cravings for weird things such as for ice, chalk, detergent, and soap. I want it so bad and i cant control it. my mom is a nurse and she said it sounds like something called pica which is symptoms many get when hemogloben is low. she asked y i hadnt told her earlier and i had just thought it was just me and i would get over it but it got worse. Could these be related the doctors cant think of why i keep getting more and more ill. i always feel nausa and weak now. i have had blood drawn many times but nothing seems wrong. im going to the doctors again today but im sure it will be the same "come back in a couple months." im in cross country running, basketball, and track for sports during fall, winter and spring if that helps. i also run all through the summer. read more...
