Chinese Astrology, the art of the chinese zodiacs

Usually Chinese Astrology is considered as a form of art by majority of people. The purpose of Chinese astrology is to assist individuals attain their goals through alertness and continuous advances of the mind and soul. Like western astrology, the Chinese astrology system is used to determine a person's health, career direction, likes and dislikes, compatibility with other person, luck attraction and a lot more . Chinese astrology is made up of a 12 year cycle which has 12 animals to represent each year, they are better termed as the Chinese Zodiacs.
They are the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep (or goat), monkey, rooster, dog, and pig, arranged always in this order. The perfect genisis of the twelve animal systems is still unknown. But there was a legend about it, here is the legend: the Jade King was bored, and was not doing anything in Heaven. He din't know what was happening on Earth, as he had servants satisfying his every desire. He decided that he wanted to see the animals that live the earth so he sent word to his advisors to bring him twelve animals. The advisor initially sent an invitation to the Rat, asking him to also get the cat, because the Rat was envious he evaded the cat from knowing the news. Later on, invitations were sent to animals like, the Tiger, the Rabbit, the Dragon, the Snake, the Horse, the Ram, the Monkey, the Rooster and the Dog and were asked to attend the next days. They stood in line in front of the king, and then he found out that they were only 11, than 12 that he wished. Thus the Jade king wanted the 12th animal from earth so he asked his advisor to get it. The servant hurried into a man taking a Pig, and grabbed| it and sent it to the king. The animals lined up in front of the king in any order. The Rat, being smallest of the rest, jumped on the Ox's back and began to play the flute. The king was very impressed by the Rat's show. He gave the Rat primary position. Second place was given to the Ox for its good sportsmanship, and third was given to the Tiger, who appeared so strong. The forth place was for the Rabbit, the Dragon took the fifth position, The sixth place was fro Snake, the seventh for the Horse, the eighth one for the Ram, Monkey stood ninth, tenth was Rooster and eleventh was the Dog. By default, and due to the king's just nature, twelfth place went to the Pig. After the event got over, the cat requested the king to revaluate but he denied the cat. Chinese astrology is also composed of 5 elements. These elements were Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water, always placed in that order because it is said to be a ongoing process, that is Wood creates Fire; Fire creates Earth; Earth creates Metal, Metal creates Water, and Water creates Wood, and again it goes back to its start. Lastly, the Chinese Astrology is highly influenced by the divine and cosmic power too.
This force is termed as The Yin and The Yang. The Yin symbolizes the female and the Yang symbolizes the male. An diverse interpretation declares that the Ying symbolizes the Evil and the Yang symbolizes the Good. When properly joint the Ying and Yang produce collective harmony and perpetual balance. The combination of Yin and Yang is the hidden power following the Chinese Horoscope system. But the Chinese Astrologers are not stern decision makers. They do not believe a person's fate is already given exactly the moment he/she took birth. What they do believe is that a person's time and place of birth set limits within which a person has freedom. What happens within these boundaries is influenced not only by own selection but also by outer issues like neighborhood, monetary conditions and the like.
