Stress has become an everyday part of modern day society. As we advance, everything seems to focus on higher productivity, which results in higher stress levels.

Although most people have to face a large amount of stress in their working situation, your job is not the only source of stress. Granted, there are some jobs with incredible stress levels associated to them, such as emergency hospital staff, and police officers in bad neighborhoods. However, there are a number of things that add fuel to the proverbial fire.

Ever increasing prices: With the population of the world increasing at an alarming rate, there is an ever increasing urgency to provide goods and services to everyone. Unfortunately, with many of the poor countries being in need of help, the money has to come from somewhere: Your pocket. If you calculate all the little bits and pieces of tax applied to an item before you buy it (with the money left over after you were taxed), the source becomes clear.

Traffic: Along with the growing global population demands, the amount of traffic on our roads just keeps escalating. Along with that comes an increased probability of being involved in an accident. This is of course the perfect way to get your stress levels up before work.

Crime: As the economic crisis becomes worse, more and more people turn to crime. Some do so out of need, and others do so out of greed. However, the average person who has to live with the increased probabilities of being a victim has to carry the burden.

Other people's stress: With everybody being subjected to an increasing amount of stress, it is only natural that the change in behavior will eventually affect others as well.

It just keeps getting worse and worse. Stress increases continuously. Where will it end?
