Voting Question: Portable DVD Player with AV facility?
I have a Canon EOS 400D which has a cable to connect to the Video input of the AV facility of any television. I would like to know whether they sell a Portable DVD Player with this facility as it would serve a dual purpose on holiday: one, you can listen/watch CD/DVDs, and two, you can plug in the camera and review pictures you have taken on a much bigger screen. Entertainment is constantly improving. Now I'm not just referring to all the CG and wondrous cinematic effects you see on the big screen. I am thinking more along the lines of convenience. We now have dual screen portable dvd player systems in our vehicles for entertainment while traveling. It's a synch to take them in and out or maybe even on an airplane. Have you had a DVD player installed in your mini van? Let me tell you, it's definitely great for keeping the little ones occupied on long road trips. And with dual screens, you can set it up so each child has his/her own picture to view. You've got to love where the entertainment/electronic market is headed.

Laptop or dual screen portable dvd player? That is the question. A close friend of mine has a portable DVD set-up he uses on trips with his family. They drive a mini van like ours and the system is a synch to mount in the vehicle for the children to watch. I think the parents love this even more than the kids. He tells me there is no more fighting on long road trips and outings.
