Resolved Question: Bandwagon question...?
Right, 2 weeks ago cassel throws 400 yards...right away questions come up of what the pats will do when Brady comes back because Cassel is now 'such an amazing QB'........this week nothing (after bad game against the steelers)
last week after the Jets beat the Titans and it was 'OMG best team in the NFL!!' this week there's been a few mentions, but not to the same magnitude
This week Broncos beat the Jets after playing so bad all season in the worst division in the NFL and suddenly people are tipping them to go to the super bowl...
What is wrong with all you people? When someone does good you don't proclaim them anything until they back it up...
e.g last year Derek Anderson....
I'd just like to know why this keeps in happening...i mean NFL .com had an article on how Cassel has been brought back to ground....HE HARDLY LEFT!!
You put Cassel on the lions and then tell me he's good.
Just a bad lose to oakland...
They mannaged to let NE score 44 points on them...
They've been a trainwreck all season...they fact a team like them will get into the playoffs is a discrace....the AFC West should get no team and there should be 3 WC teams
The 1st few people talked BS, the rest talked sense...

Open Question: What's your opinion, and do you have extra info?
I am currently working on an essay for my English class. It is a pursuasive essay and I picked the topic of my view on the NFL rules for celebration during games. My view is that I think the rules are stupid because they:
1> hinder the 1st amendment by not allowing freedom of speech (sort of!)
2> prohibit a natural and often uncontrollable function of the human (wouldn't you celebrate if you made a touch down>? It's totally natural!)
3> They state that the rules promote sportsmanship but I disagree. I think real sportsmanship consists of good winners and losers, and if you have them, no one will be offended or too proud by celebrating.
Do you have any opinions?
Do you have any information on the actual rules? (I researched the NFL rulebook, but couldn't find the official rules. All I found from digg.com was an article stating the rule change in 2006)
Thanks!
