Motorcycle GPS Makes Ride Easier

Whether you just take your motorcycle out for a spin on weekends to relax or go on long road trips to see the countryside there is a new product out that you may want to check out. The new Garmin Zumo 660 is a GPS made specifically for motorcycles. Not only was the Zumo made with the motorcyclist in mind it was actually designed by motorcycle riders. You can tell that's the case by looking at its design and features. The Garmin Zumo 660's 4.3 inch touchscreen color display is sunlight readable and incorporates a "glove friendly" interface. It is also fuel spray and UV ray resistant and waterproof.
The Zumo 660 has both a 3-D building view as well as a lane assist with junction view so you'll know what lane to be in at all times. It also incorporates a digital fuel gauge. Of course, you'll want to listen to music on your ride so Garmin put in an mp3 player that is Bluetooth compatible. It also has a picture viewer and an audio book player as well so you'll stay entertained when you're on those long rides.
With the Garmin Zumo 660 you can map out the best route on your computer and then transfer it to the Zumo. You can also save the route you rode and when you get back home download it to your computer and review the ride or share the route with friends.
The Zumo 660 will also double as a car GPS since it not only comes with a motorcycle mount but a carrying case, vehicle mount and power cable as well. It comes with a removable, rechargeable lithium-ion battery that lasts up to 5 hours and has a MicroSD memory card slot built in as well.
Most of the reviews of the Garmin Zumo 660 have been positive. When it was first released there were a number of issues that resulted in some customer dissatisfaction but Garmin has resolved nearly all of those issues with new firmware updates and, since then, customer feedback has been very positive.
