Free shuttles operate between most of the airport, train and bus connections, making it easy to travel to and from Miami. Buses run most of the day in Miami on a number of different routes and are very inexpensive. The Metrorail, Miami's 22 mile long elevated rapid transit system provides easy access to the various surrounding areas. While there are a number of taxi services, don't expect it to be as easy to hail a cab as in places like New York or London, and they are not well known for showing up on time. When renting a car, getting a convertible so you can enjoy the sun or an exotic car like a Bentley or Porsche for showing off at night will make your trip even better.
